I posted a while back about my mobile station in my 2004 Ford F-250. Yesterday, I finally received my mounting bracket for my Kenwood TK-981 radio in the mail from ResponderPSE. I had ordered this at the end of January, but it was back-ordered (something their website didn’t tell me)
Anyway, I got the bracket and installed it yesterday, so I now have 3 radios mounted in the console, with room for 3-4 more. For now the only other radio I have planned to install is a 10-meter rig, but it is too large to put inside the console, so I am not sure yet how I will do that.
Here is a pic I took of the setup as it currently sits. I’ll post updates as I have them.
Top radio is a Kenwood TM-V71A, dual band 2M/440
Middle radio is a Motorola XPR-4350 for UHF DMR
Bottom is my Kenwood TK-981 that I just mounted.
