Amazon FireTV

Well yes, but will it stream movies from a NAS share on your home network?

I usually RIP my DVDs and Blue-Rays to XviD or MP4 format so that I can store them on my NAS drive and watch them while on my TV while just paging through the menu in a Windows Explorer or Nautilus menu.  Leaving aside the gray-area legal questions about this process (and besides, many Blue Ray DVDs now come with a Digital Copy) none of these devices list this ability.  This has long been my gripe about Roku.  So for now, I will stick with my WD TV Live Media Player
